Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Q. What format/size should the poster be? A. Anything up to A0 size (in portrait orientation) will fit on the poster stands provided.
  2. Q. What is the presentation format? A. The time in the session will be split (by default) equally between the talks, and the last 5 minutes of the allocated time should be reserved for Q&A.
  3. Q. How long should the “General description” in the workshop proposal be? A. There is no minimum length (a workshop in an established field may be possible to describe in a very concise manner), but the description should not exceed one page of text.
  4. Q. Where should I submit my research results? A. There are no hard and fast rules, but as a general guideline:
    • A full paper is a good choice for maximum visibility for in-dept analysis of a topic. This also for papers that are related to environmental computing (full papers related to this topic may be considered for presentation on the focus day).
    • A specific issue related to environmental computing is most likely best presented as a short paper.
    • As a third alternative, a call for posters will be published shortly (to appear on the calls page).
  5. Q. When will more information about registration and hotels be available? A. We expect to open the registration towards the end of the week starting on the 9th February 2015. In the meantime, please follow us on Twitter and Facebook to be notified also about the registration and other practical details!
  6. Q. How do I submit an abstract?A. Abstract is one of the fields in the paper submission template on the easychair system used by the conference.
